Westman Atelier

I have seen Gucci Westman’s videos online and I instantly loved her style and effortless appeal. Her approach to skin is exactly my aesthetic and her celebrity following sure knows a good thing when they are onto it! When I heard that Mecca was going to be launching her line Westman Atelier, I was intrigued and excited.

Baby Cheeks Blush Sticks

The expertly curated collection is small but precise, all housed in exquisite packaging that is not only visually beautiful but practical and perfunctory. Westman’s approach and vision for the collection was a clean and conscious brand that also performs textually and functionally. This vision I feel she has achieved. Gucci suffers from Rosacea and openly talks about her frustration with the skin condition. I completely relate to her frustrations as my skin can suffer redness and be reactive due to gut inflammation. So when i heard that her formulations include skin care benefits to sooth redness and inflammation, I was jumping for joy and ready to hit ADD TO CART when Mecca launched the brand.

I purchased the following pieces from Westman Atelier. All available from Mecca-

Vital Skin Foundation Stick- Atelier 111 $104.00
Face Trace Contour Stick- Biscuit $76.00
Baby Cheeks Blush Stick- Dou Dou $76.00
Baby Cheeks Blush Stick- Minette $76.00

Black stick- Face Trace Contour Stick- Biscuit
Left stick Baby Cheeks Blush Stick- Dou Dou
Right stick Baby Cheeks Blush Stick- Minette
Vital Skin Foundation Stick- Atelier III- Medium warm, golden under tone
The sleek tube packaging is finished in a light pink, soft grey and black. The perfect palette. Oh and did I mention the lid is magnetized!! Genius!

My experience with the products have been illuminating and amplifying. The foundation melts into the skin with ease and has a buildable coverage. The blush sticks were the real winners for me. The colour payoff was impressive and gave a subtle flush to the face. The warm coral cheek colour Minette has a soft shimmer that is perfect for day or night. The face trace contour stick will work well with lighter skin tones and is an easy way to warm up areas of the face.

Finally I think this line will integrate beautifully into anyone’s makeup kit and work well for the days when you want a no makeup, makeup look.
